Power Factor Controllers, Digital Type

"Indotech"Three Phase Ammeters

"INDOTECH" To understand the importance of "Indotech" Power Factor Controllers, one has to learn what is Power Factor

Power Factor (PF) = Active Power(KW)

Apparent Power(kVA)

The term Apparent Power is the power that the Electricity Board supplies whereas the Active Power is what the consumer is using. In layman's language, Pf = kW or kW = KVAxPF kVA

It means that PF is directly proportional to the efficiency of utilization of electrical power. So lower the Pf, the lower is the utilization means that if we have low Pf at the consumer end, the consumer is paying more money for less consumption of Power.

Besides, the Electricity Board also imposes penalty for low Pf. Thus it becomes necessary for the consumers to improve the Power Factor of there electrical systems.
"INDOTECH" Automatic Power Factor Controller(APFC) is specially designed to control the Power Factor of the system.

PRINCIPAL OF WORKING:

"INDOTECH" APFC Controls the Power Factor of the system. It senses the Pf and signals to switch "ON" or switch "OFF" the Power Factor Correction Capacitors installed in the Panel with the help of contractor. So the APFC is the correction panel.
