GENERAL :

"INDOTECH” Watt, VA, VAR & Power Factor Meters are available in following type :

1. DYNAMO METER TYPE :

Current Coil & Volt Coil interact to give direct reading on dial.

TRANSDUCER TYPE :

Electronic Transducer gives signal in terms of DC microamps to moving coil DC meter which gives reading proportional to the signal.

"INDOTECH" WATT / KW / MW METERS :

Wattmeters are meant for measuring effective power and are designed for single phase as well as three phase balanced & unbalanced loads.

"INDOTECH" VA/KVA/MVA METERS :

VA meters are meant for measuring Apparent Power in 3 phase systems.

"INDOTECH" VAR/KVAR/MVAR METERS :

These are used for measuring wattless component of VA in 3 phase systems.

"INDOTECH" PF METERS :

P.F. of a circuit is the ratio between the effective power & the apparent power and is measured with the help of a power factor meter.

ACCURACY

Class 1.0 as per ISS 1248/03.

SCALE :

Almost linear from 1/10 to full scale in case of WATT/KW/MW, VA/KVA/MVA & VAR/KVAR/MVAR Meters & 0.5 (Lag)-1-0.5(Lead) in case of power factor meters.

TYPE :

(a). Single element type for single phase A.C. measurements.

(b) Single element type for 3 phase balanced load.

(c) 2 elements type for 3 phase 3 wire balanced & unbalanced loads.

(d) 3 elements type for 3 phase, 4 wire balanced & unbalanced loads.

RANGE :

Current 1A or 5A & voltage upto 600V with internal resistance. Higher ranges with CT's & PT's

Note :

1. 72 x 72 kW meter is available with extra transducer box.
